It's pronounced 'Nye-fuc-fuh.'

Hey, you know who can go straight to hell? These guys: New Yorkers for Constitutional Freedoms (NYFCF. See? Nye-fuc-fuh). I know, I'm such a jerk right? How can I possibly have a problem with Constitution and Freedom? I mean, those things are as American as apple pie, baseball and riding a Rascal around Wal-Mart. Not because you need to of course, but because you've given up.
'O beautiful, for spacious skies....'
"Sorry kid, you didn't completely
fill in #43. Colleges want people
who know how to follow the rules."
New Yorkers for Constitutional Freedom are actually all about the opposite of these things (freedom and constitution that is, I don't know how they feel about Rascals). They're a non-profit lobbying organization who feel that there isn't enough church in New York's State. To that end they're suing because the closed door negotiations might have violated the open meetings law or something. Could it be that Nye-fuc-fuh is just so damn dedicated to the rule of law that they'd be willing to deprive people of their civil rights over a possible breach of legislative protocol?
Pictured: Governor Cuomo,
the guy that said the thing.

Or do they just really hate gay people and are lashing out in red-faced anger because New York has moved beyond their medieval worldview? I'm going with #2. Even more galling is that they're demanding an apology from Governor Cuomo for calling them un-American. Here's what he said:

"There's no answer from the opposition. There really isn't. Ultimately, it's, 'I want to discriminate.' And that's anti-New York. It's anti-American."

I don't see their problem. Can't we all get behind the idea that discrimination is bad? Aren't things that are bad un-American?

Moses? I don't know, is he the guy
who gives you the sword in Zelda 1?
And like, they do want to discriminate. In fact, check out this rant from their website (hilariously) entitled: New York Falls Off Moral Precipice. It's all about how the new law should have included protection for Christians who want to discriminate, you know, for Jesus. Look, Crom, god of steel knows that I am no theologian. For me, Sunday school is a hazily remembered couple of hours each week in which I wasn't allowed to play Nintendo, but am I missing something or aren't these guys supposed to be about being kind to one another? Like, is there some fine print on 'Love thy neighbor' that gets glossed over?

"Love they neighbor as you love yourself. Unless of course they're gay, in which case
devote your life to making sure they don't get equal treatment under the law."

-Jesus, Matthew Chapter 22-um, verse uh <cough> mumble mumble
