Politics 101: blame your supporters.
This according to the President at a campaign rally-wait, is it weird that despite being the President he's holding campaign rallies instead of, you know, presidenting? Anyway, he told a crowd in Montana that if he's impeached it'll be because his fans didn't go out and vote in November.

Anyone else fantasizing about this, but with Trump? Huh? Well, yeah,
obviously he'll be flipping us off instead of giving the peace sign... |
|
Does anyone honestly believe this man
isn't guilty of crimes? Like, many crimes? |
Which, I kind of think he has a fundamental misunderstanding of what impeachment is. Like, this isn't some shitty reality show. This is shitty reality. Impeachment isn't like getting voted off the island or not getting a rose or whatever they did on his stupid
Apprentice show. If he's impeached it'll be because Congress decides to charge him with a crime or crimes. Sure, it'll be easier to do so if the GOP is handed a bunch of defeats in the election, but he would still be guilty of, you know, crimes.
|
If he didn't own a bunch of hotels,
wouldn't we just call him a stalker? |
|
The last people he should be blaming is the poor rubes he conned into voting for him the the first place. These are people who, against all reason and forethought, watched the debates and said:
"Yes! That rude, obnoxious game show host skulking around in the background, smirking unlikably and heckling his opponent? That's the candidate for us!" And these are the people who continue to look the other way as the accusations of Russian collusion, tacit support of Nazis and general incompetence continue to mount.
That's loyalty...well, ok, maybe not loyalty. More like an irrational hatred of Hillary Clinton. But it's the closest he's ever going to get to people liking him, so maybe instead of blaming them for his predicament, he could try be nicer to them?

Pictured: the racist white people with persecution complexes
and conspiracy theories to whom Trump should be nicer. |
